Draw the Destination

Summer art workshops for those to determined to change the world, creatively.

Draw the Destination is a group of art workshops geared towards inspiring change through creativity. In these workshops, action is broken down into simple steps, allowing the creative activist to blossom in everyone.

Creative Visions Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit inspired by the life of Dan Eldon, a young Reuters photojournalist killed in Somalia in 1993.  The foundation supports Creative Activists who use media and the arts to create change in the world.   15% of the proceeds is being donated back to Creative Visions Foundation.

Meet the instructors:

Alex Rose is a graffiti and fine artist working on receiving his BA in Design from The Art Institute of California. His passions include graphic design, film, photography, and set design.

Lindsay Carron received her BA in Studio Art from Pepperdine University in 2011 and is a practicing artist in LA. Through her extensive travels, Lindsay has been inspired to use art to bridge cultural gaps, raise questions, better communities, and have a profound impact on those around her.

PCH Tutors is a private tutoring company serving the communities surrounding Malibu, CA.  PCH Tutors strives to make learning personal, understandable, and valuable to the students it teaches.

During Draw the Destination’s first 2-week camp this summer we served 10 kids in the Malibu and Pacific Palisades areas. And this is what we accomplished…

The mural will be hung on the balcony of Creative Visions Foundation for all of PCH to see!

Alex and I will be continuing the workshops in the future.
